About Us

Women's Ultimate in Ireland has been progressing over the last number of years to what is now a competitive, fun and active scene for a horde of players, both new and old. With two womens clubs underway in 2010 for the first time ever, we can look forward to even more competition and a raising of what is already an impressively high standard of play.

From Little Miss Sunshine

Hi Ladies,

If your interested in improving your game this summer and playing more womens ultimate then we have the outlet for you!!

Little Miss Sunshine have open womens sessions every Monday evening from 7-9pm in St. Annes Park, Raheny (0833702663 for directions).

So far this year we have covered the following: catching, throwing, hucking, dump throws, dump cuts, cutting upfield, man defense both on the handler and the cutter, 3-4 patterns and we are currently working or Zone O and D. We will be focusing more on 3-4 in the coming months as well as a list of skills and structures. If you want to use this summer to learn more and improve your ultimate we would love to have you out at sessions.

If we get enough numbers we can include a game in the session which at the end of the day is why we all train and do fitness, to play ultimate!

Welcome

This website is intended to act as a resource for women playing Ultimate in Ireland. It is for news, coaching advice, tournament announcements, updates and anything else you can think of that relates.

Please feel free at any time to add a blog post, send in photos (to womens@irishultimate.com) or suggest a new addition to the site. It is an open forum and I hope it will really open up communications for players around the country in what we do and how we do it.
